St. Mary Star of the Sea is a Roman Catholic parish. The word "catholic" means that there is room for everyone. Moreover, for us, the word "Catholic" challenges us to learn how to become brothers and sisters to one another and to be a multicultural community where we are enriched by a great variety of customs, tastes, sounds, colors, abilities, and needs. Presently, St. Mary's is home for English-speaking Catholics and Spanish-speaking Catholics. We are learning how to be a parish that is truly inclusive. May our parish be a meeting place for people of all races and cultures so that we may share in something more than a building: lives built on faith in Christ Jesus.

La Parroquia Santa María Estrella del Mar es una parroquia Católica. La palabra católica implica que todo el mundo le pertenece. Más aún a nosotros la palabra “católica” nos desafía a actuar como aquellos que verdaderamente viven la hermandad universal en una parroquia multicultural. Aquí pretendemos enriquecernos con una gran variedad de costumbres, sabores, sonidos, colores, habilidades y necesidades. La Parroquia Santa María es casa de católicos de habla inglesa y de católicos de habla española. Poco a poco estamos aprendiendo a compartir el mismo espacio y también a compartir nuestras vidas y nuestra fe. Anhelanmos llegar a ser una comunidad inclusive y católica. Que la parroquia Santa María Estrella del mar sea un ulgar de encuentro de personas de todos razas y culturas para que así conozcamos major a Cristo Jesús.

Saint Mary Star of the Sea is a Roman Catholic parish community, dedicated to carrying on Jesus' mission of human redemption. Guided by the Holy Spirit, and with the intercession of our patronness, the Virgin Mary, Mother of God, we seek to grow in faith, hope, and love, reaching out in welcome to all, united in our hope that God will make one family out of our many people.

Santa María Estrella del Mar es una comunidad parroquial Católica Romana, dedicada a llevar a cabo la misión de redención humana de Jesucristo. Guiada por el Espíritu Santo, y con la intercesión de nuestra patrona, la Virgen María, Madre de Dios, buscamos crecer en fe, esperanza, y amor, dando la bienvenida a todos, unidos en el deseo que Dios forme de nuestra diversidad una sola familia.

St. Mary Star of the Sea School is a multi-ethnic, multicultural Catholic school made unique by its diverse student population. The mission of St. Mary Star of the Sea School is to educate all children while nurturing them with the Gospel values of faith, hope, and love.
